Terms of Use
What HerePup is
HerePup | Pick yoUr Plan is a tool that estimates what different health plans are likely to cost your household, using a model built from the plan documents and claims history you provide. It is currently offered in early testing. HerePup is operated by Christopher Arthur ("HerePup", "we", "us").
Estimates, not advice or guarantees
HerePup's results are estimates based on your documents, the numbers you confirm, and assumptions the app shows you. They are not a promise of what any plan will cost, and they are not medical, insurance, financial, tax or legal advice. Plan rules, provider networks and prices change, and your future care may differ from your past claims. Check important decisions against your plan's official documents, and with your employer or insurer.
Your responsibilities
- Use HerePup only with information about yourself and people in your household whom you are authorized to act for, and connect only your own insurer account.
- HerePup is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13.
- Review the values HerePup reads from your documents before relying on them.
- Keep the device where you use HerePup secure, since your information is stored there.
- Follow your insurer's terms when you connect HerePup to your insurer account.
Insurer connections
When you confirm and connect an insurer, you are authorizing HerePup to read your records from that insurer on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. The insurer controls what data is available and may limit, change or end access. You can disconnect at any time.
Reviews
If you send a review of a provider through PupPlace, it must be your own honest experience. Don't write one for pay, a discount or anything else in return, about a provider you work for or are related to, or for someone else. You keep ownership of what you write, and you allow HerePup to publish it on PupPlace, show it to the provider, and remove personal details or anything else that breaks the review rules shown with the form. We publish good and bad reviews alike, and we remove a review only when it breaks those rules, never because a provider asks or pays. Providers may reply once, publicly. Reviews are opinions of the people who write them, not HerePup's, and they never change the order places are shown in. How reviews are handled.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, and these terms never override it. In short, your health information stays on your device and is never sold or shared, and HerePup follows the CARIN Alliance Code of Conduct.
Provided as is
HerePup is provided "as is" and "as available" during testing, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, HerePup is not liable for decisions made using its estimates or for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes
We may update these terms as HerePup develops. We will change the date above when we do.
